I am pleased and honoured to now be a member of the Royal Photographic Society (RPS).
The Royal Photographic Society exists to educate members of the public by increasing their knowledge and understanding of Photography and in doing so to promote the highest standards of achievement in Photography in order to encourage public appreciation of Photography. I plan to now prepare for my first RPD Distinction – The Licentiate (LRPS). This first of three distinctions requires 10 images which reflect your ability as a photographer.
For the LRPS, applicants must show variety in approach and techniques but not necessarily in subject matter. The work to achieve a LRPS is demanding but achievable for most dedicated photographers and provides a distinction which is recognised worldwide.
